  • Identity data: full name, nationality, date of birth, and photograph.
  • Contact data: email address, phone number, WhatsApp number, and postal address.
  • Professional data: CV / resume, IRATA certification level and number, CSCS cards, trade qualifications, work history, and references.
  • Certification data: IRATA logbook hours, WINDA records, OPITO certifications, GWO training records, and medical fitness certificates.
  • Employment preferences: availability, desired day rate, location preferences, and willingness to travel.
  • Employer data: company name, project details, hiring manager contact information, and crew requirements.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your personal data is used exclusively for recruitment-related purposes:

  • Matching qualified rope access technicians to suitable roles and projects.
  • Verifying professional certifications, qualifications, and work history.
  • Communicating with you about relevant job opportunities or candidate profiles.
  • Coordinating mobilisation logistics including visa processing, travel, and accommodation.
  • Improving our services, including analysis of placement success rates and market trends.

3. Data Sharing

We share your personal data only in the following circumstances:

  • With employers: technician profiles (including CV, certifications, and availability) are shared with prospective employers solely for the purpose of evaluating placement suitability.
  • With certification bodies: we may verify your credentials directly with IRATA, OPITO, or other issuing organisations.
  • With service providers: trusted third-party services that help us operate (e.g. hosting, email infrastructure), bound by data processing agreements.

We never sell your personal data to third parties. Your information is never used for advertising or marketing by external companies.

4. Data Retention

Active candidate records are retained for as long as you remain registered with Sultan Recruitment. If you are placed in a role, we retain your data for the duration of the engagement plus 24 months for reference and compliance purposes. Inactive records (no contact for 24 months) are flagged for review and may be archived or deleted. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us directly.

5. Cookies

Our website uses cookies strictly for:

  • Essential cookies: required for the website to function correctly (e.g. session management).
  • Analytics cookies: anonymised usage data to help us understand how visitors use our site and improve the experience.
